Wait a minute! Let us breathe ... Ready! Now we have been described as the 15 minutes, in 4k, of Shadow of the Tomb Raider that is breathtaking. The next one still hits hard after the scenes we saw. Yes, it has a spoiler, but the anxiety is so great that it could not resist. We watch every minute, with replay right. A willingness to play the game only increased.
It all starts with an electrifying, and already known, of Lara Croft and Jonah inside a plane that breaks in two parts. He is on one side, Lara on the other. Everything goes dark. Then it appears on the screen "two days later".
Lara appears injured and stuck between rocks, trying to escape, and talks to her friend, by walk talk. As soon as she leaves, she tells him to be careful with the path because it is full of traps. The are both in a tomb and in front of a sculpture with several engravings. Lara says they are pink fish and start exploring what's in there and realizes that there's something dated but that it was intentionally damaged. And the archaeologist reinforces that it was a long time ago, removing the doubt of the friend to have been made by the people of the Trinity. Then Lara gets up and steps into a trap that causes the site to collapse. But before, she took pictures of the recordings.
Following this, Lara and Johan are in Cozumel, Mexico, at a coffee shop, and immediately identifies Dr. Dominguez, an expert on pre-colonial ruins who was conducting some local excavations and who has also been cited in Richard Croft's diary countless times.
Lara approaches her friend and says that the hidden city is in the South, where the pink fish is. Johan was more specific in saying that they are pink dolphins (the porpoises) that are only found in the Amazon. Croft tells more details to his friend about the silver mountain and also about the constellation when, suddenly, it is interrupted by him that says that the ruins must be in Brazil. (We need to pause because the heart began to beat stronger again. LOL). But soon after, Lara confirms that it is in Peru with explanations on the damaged parts of the recordings and calculations based on the Mayan calendar among other considerations. Then her friend says they were looking in the wrong place and Lara confirms the information, complementing that she needs to find the silver crown, which is a kind of key.
In the sequence, Dr. Dominguez is called, perhaps by one of the henchmen, and Lara begins to follow in his footsteps, disguised in a mask typical of the Day of the Dead, because the place is frequented by the people of the Trinity, who are armed. In one of the moments, the man who accompanies Domingues cites the fiasco of the searches in Brazil and Lara comes to the conclusion that he is a leader of the Trinity and continues to follow. The 15 minutes, basically, end here, showing us not only the gameplay, but the game is beautiful. Every detail was thought out and developed flawlessly. The colors are more vivid and vibrant. The characters, especially Lara Croft, are more natural and the interaction with the people and the scenery brings more reality to the game.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be released on September 14, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and, so far, we have already checked two trailers, gameplay, and the first 15 minutes of the game in 4K resolution. Now all you need to do is play the game and forget about your social life.
